phpCVSView is aimed at being the only tool you will need if you run a website for a project using CVS for your source control. phpCVSView is aimed at being the only tool you will need if you run a website for a project using CVS for your source control. It currently provides "pserver" connectivity to your source repository. The idea behind phpCVSview was to be a web based CVS viewer written in PHP and an alternative to current CVS viewers written in Python or Perl language. A PHP web based CVS viewer is more portable and more versatile that currently available viewers. PhpCVSview, like many other CVS viewers, has the ability to view CVS files online. It also has the capability of displaying file revisions, downloading a specific file revision, code syntax highlighting (GeSHI), show complete module list and themeing capability.PhpCVSview would like to do more than just that. It would like to provide the ability to get CVS files from other protocols, other than pserver, like ext, local and ssh. Features: - Pserver connectivity - Theme support - Supports multiple languages - Multiple repository support - File view, download, diff and annotation - xhtml 1.1 and css 2.1 compliant code Requirements: · A webserver which supports PHP, Apache recommended. · PHP version 4.3 and above with PEAR packages (Net_Socket, Archive_Tar, ...) installed and compiled with the zlib extension (optional). PHP 5 is supported. · CVS PServer version 1.12.9 and above to connect to. · An internet browser (Firefox, IE, Opera, Netscape) that supports CSS.
